After an exhausting day of travel (more mentally and emotionally exhausting than physically), I was overjoyed to be welcomed to the slow pace of the Dominican life. After taking some time to rest, I was overrun with these vivacious, fun-loving kids. Without hesitation, they came in to my room for the week and hopped right up on the bed, ready for hugs and small talk. Beinvenidos a Juan Tomas!
