WYATT GETS DIRTY

Sometimes, I think babies and young toddlers* are just playing us all along.  They know how to communicate just fine but choose not to and put on an act by "learning" their words.  Wyatt, especially.  He looks directly at the camera and smiles just after the click of the shutter.  The smile bubbles over in to laughter because he knows he has you wrapped around his little finger and he does it all over again and again. The epitome of a boy through and through, he finds the gardening tools his grandmother has left aside and plops down in the biggest pile of dirt he can find.  He's not content just to shovel and get his hands dirty, he needs to get every little crevice covered in dirt and then he'll take the shovel and scoop it full of dirt only to lift it up and pile it right on to the very top of his head.

I can't wait until these facial expressions are translated to words and the thoughts bubbling over in his little ginger head start pouring out!

*Don't let this kid fool you.  He's hardy for his age at just over 18 months.
