I have been dying to go back to the Christmas Home Tour in Edenton since I first went with my mother in 2008 and this year was the year! Finally! The tour is on a rotation and as it would happen, we got to visit many of the same houses we visited five years ago. There were certain homes and decorative elements that I had wanted the Doc to see (those painted checkered floors!!!) and was thrilled that he was going to be able to see them himself. We went with my parents - who also love Christmas and are currently dreaming up plans for their new home - and had a wonderful time admiring the beautifully decorated homes and taking notes for our 'one day' home. If you are ever in the area during December, the Christmas Home Tour is an absolute must.
